Basic Math

What do you get when you give Isaac a peanut butter and jelly sandwich?

You get this...

What do you get when there is music playing and Emma is around?

You get a lot of this...

A "Shoe" Thing

Isaac has always been a fan of bigger shoes.  He loves to put on daddy's shoes and walk around the house.  But when he found his sister's dress up shoes it was not hard for mom to resist bringing out the camera.  He would not take them off.  He kept walking around the house with them and if you tried to take them off he would have nothing to do with it.  At least they matched his shirt!!

Hot Spring Night

Yesterday was the hottest day so far this year and it's only April, it was over 90 degrees and that's hot for San Clemente, so we spent the day inside enjoying the A/C!  But after dinner we played outside with the kids, granted it was still very warm for 6 o'clock at night, but the kids didn't seem to mind.  We lured them into the backyard with a cold popsicle, no staining colors of course!  They enjoyed them all the way down to the stick!  Isaac even found some new uses for his, body lotion and shampoo!!

"The Goober"

We had a wonderful, but short, visit with Uncle Jordan (a.k.a. "The Goober") today and the kids loved it!  We stayed home from church because mom is still trying to get better from this horrible flu that has stuck around for 5 days.  We are on the upswing!  I had the chance to try out the sports feature on the camera today and took several action shots of the soccer game we had in the street.  There are tons of pictures so you can click on the link below if you want to view all of them.  But here is one of Emma and The Goober!

New Camera, New Blog

I got a very early Mother's Day present this week and I am just starting to get some practice and try out my new cool camera.  I wanted to start taking better pictures of the kids with their eyes open!!  Steve has wanted a camera like this for a long time but I just wasn't ready, I mean with toddlers you just need point and shoot, well, that's what I thought then.  Now I want to dust off the high school photography class from my brain and start again with some great photos.  So here are some of my first shots, not very exciting but when you're trying to read a manual and try out a new camera with the kids around this is what you get!!
